Vietnam Airlines JSC (HVN) has received approval from the State Securities Commission of Vietnam to issue 900 million shares at VND10,000 apiece.

Vietnam Airlines JSC (HoSE: HVN) recently announced that it has completed the transfer of 35% of its shares in Cambodia Angkor Air (K6) to the receiver, under an agreement between the two parties in the share transfer contract.

The State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC) plans to invest VND8 trillion (approximately US$345.6 million) in Vietnam Airlines JSC (HVN), the amount is equal to 25% of HVN’s charter capital.

Since the first coronavirus cases were detected in Vietnam in March, the outlook for air transport-related stocks has remained negative.
