The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), the United Nations (UN) in Vietnam, and the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the UN in Vietnam on October 18 jointly organised the commemoration of Word Food Day 2024 (October 16).

Vietnam is ready to coordinate with the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and international partners to achieve the targets of this year’s World Food Day (October 16), an official has said.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) and the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) in Vietnam held a ceremony on October 15 to mark World Food Day 2020 (October 16) and the 75th anniversary of the FAO.

The National Institute of Nutrition has launched a “nutrition and development week” in a bid to raise public awareness of proper nutrition for sustainable development.
