VOV.VN - Over the past few days, residents of flood and landslide-hit Nu Village in Bao Yen district of the northern mountainous province of Lao Cai have been busy stabilising their lives in a new resettlement area which is built about two km from the old village.

VOV.VN - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on December 22 attended the inauguration of the resettlement area in Nu village of northern Lao Cai province, an area severely devastated by flashfloods and landslides in September 2024.

VOV.VN - More than a month after the catastrophic landslides and flashfloods hit Nu village of Lao Cai province, a new resettlement area with concrete stilt houses is taking shape to welcome local villagers.

VOV.VN - Though the devastating flash floods swept through Nu village of northern Lao Cai province two weeks ago, soldiers have been braving the sun and rain, wading through mud to search for the dead bodies.

VOV.VN - Hundreds of soldiers from both police and military forces have been mobilised to join in recuse and recovery efforts in Lang Nu village in the northern province of Lao Cai.

VOV.VN - Relevant forces have so far retrieved 44 dead bodies from debris of the horrific flashfloods that struck Nu village of northern Lao Cai province on September 10, and search and rescue operations are going on to search for the remaining 51 missing people.
