VTV to broadcast live all matches of 2025 ASEAN U23 Championship
VOV.VN - Vietnamese football fans will have more viewing options as Vietnam Television (VTV) has announced it will broadcast live all 16 matches of the 2025 ASEAN U23 Championship, also known as Mandiri Cup™.

According to the announcement, the matches are expected to be aired live on three channels of the national TV broadcaster - VTV5, VTV7, and VTV Can Tho.
This gives Vietnamese football fans more options to support coach Kim Sang Sik and his team as they seek to defend their title at the tournament.
Previously, on July 10 FPT Play confirmed that it has acquired exclusive media and broadcasting rights for the tournament.
The digital TV provider will broadcast all matches from July 15 to 29 across its multi-platform system, including terrestrial, cable, satellite, IPTV, internet, mobile apps, social media, and public screenings.
The 2025 ASEAN U23 Championship is set to kick off from July 15 to 29 in Indonesia. The tournament is considered a valuable opportunity for Coach Kim Sang Sik and his squad to prepare for key upcoming competitions, such as the 2026 AFC U23 Asian Cup qualifiers and the 33rd SEA Games.
The 2025 edition will feature 10 teams, divided into three groups. Vietnam will play in Group B alongside Laos and Cambodia, while Group A comprises Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Brunei. Group C features Thailand, Myanmar, and Timor Leste.
In the group stage, teams will play in a single round-robin format, with the three group winners and the best second-placed team advancing to the semifinals.
Vietnam are scheduled to play Laos on July 19 and Cambodia on July 22.
Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand are seen as the top contenders for the championship title.
