Youth leadership exchange reinforces Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia relationship
VOV.VN - The third training program for young leaders from border localities of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia is a time-honored tradition and a valuable asset that reflects the deep bonds and distinct identity shared by the three Parties.

The program officially opened on July 8 in Vientiane under the chair of Sisay Ludetmounsone, Head of the Organization Commission of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee. Running from July 8 to 15, the week-long event brings together 50 participants from the three neighboring countries.
In her opening remarks, Sisay Ludetmounsone underlined the significance of this training program as a continuation of the outcomes of the high-level meeting between the Parties of Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia. She described it as a longstanding tradition of friendship-a cherished legacy that embodies the unique identity shared by the three Parties.
During the course, participants will exchange experience in socio-economic development in each Party and country, recall the history of solidarity, close-knit ties, and mutual support among the three Parties and peoples, and share current approaches to nation-building in their respective countries.

Participants will engage in in-depth discussions on key topics related to the three countries, including the traditional relations among Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia; joint efforts in building and safeguarding a border of friendship, peace, and cooperation; strategies for economic and trade development in the context of regional and global integration; and trilateral cooperation in tourism and culture.
As part of the programme, they will also visit historical sites and key production facilities in Vientiane capital and Vientiane province.
