Clocked in at 27.53 seconds, Vietnamese swimmer Do Huy Long snatched the gold medal in the 50m backstroke at the 51st Malaysia Open Swimming Championship which closed on May 5.

The four-day event had attracted some of the best swimmers in the world.

Vietnam was represented by Do Huy Long and Nguyen Huu Viet.
