The General Department of Customs began to apply new customs procedures to the import and export of goods as of June 1 to shorten the time required for these activities.

The new procedures define the responsibility and authority of each customs officer, and stipulate compulsory principles and requirements for implementation.

The new procedures also specify each step to be taken for businesses to make it easy for their goods imports and exports.
