The resolution issues regulations on coordination between the two organizations in implementation of their missions by the Party’s policies and State’s laws.

Accordingly, the government will create favourable conditions for Vietnamese veterans and their organization to contribute to building and safeguarding the Party and the socialist regime as well as efforts to boost socio-economic development and reduce poverty.

Meanwhile, the Vietnam War Veterans Association will assist state agencies and supervise their activities and employees.

Addressing the signing ceremony, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung asked the ministries and government bodies to join hands with the Vietnam War Veterans Association to realize these regulations.
