Two runners-up were Pham Phuong Anh and Le Thu Huyen.

The beauty contest was considered a big cultural event for the Vietnamese community in Russia with the aim of promoting Vietnamese traditional culture and encouraging young people of Vietnamese origin to think of their homeland.

The pageant attracted 15 contestants who are Vietnamese Russian and those who are studying in Russia. This is the first time such a contest has been held in Russia and it received great support from the Vietnamese community and donors.

Truong Ho Phuong Nga together with five other beautiful girls Le Thu Huyen, Pham Phuong Anh, Tran Thi Nga (Tran Natalia), Hoang Minh Thuy and Nguyen Huong Giang will join a “Miss Vietnam in Commonweath of Independent States” contest, which will take place in the Ukraine in early August. Three girls will be chosen from the contest to attend the final round of “Miss Vietnam World”.
