A showroom for Vietnam and Nhan Dan (People) newspaper opened on September 15 in the "World Village" area of the L'Humanite' Newspaper Festival, which is being organised by the French Communist Party (PCF) in Paris.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to France Nguyen Dinh Bin praised the friendship and cooperation existing between France and Vietnam and the close comradeship between the PCF and the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) evidenced by the high-ranking visits made regularly by the two countries' Party and State leaders.
Jacques Fath, Director of the PCF's Commission for International Relations, expressed his delight at the recent successful visit to Vietnam by the PCF National Secretary, Marie George Buffet, affirming that the French communists will always stand side by side with other communist parties as well as progressive and peace-loving forces worldwide.
The festival is organised in September each year in Courneuve Park in the suburb of Paris.
The "World Village" area provides space for dozens of showrooms for the communist parties and international workers' movements from five continents, including those from China, India, Vietnam, Italy, Germany, Russia and Cuba.
