Vietnam’s tourism to be promoted in China this November

VOV.VN - The Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (VNAT) will play host to a tourism promotion programme from November 5 to 10 in the Chinese cities of Chengdu and Chongqing.

The programme is expected to attract the participation of various travel companies and tourism promotion hubs from both Vietnam and China.

The event will therefore feature business matching events, the introduction of Vietnamese destinations, and tourism products aimed at drawing more Chinese tourists to Vietnam and vice versa.

Furthermore, Vietnamese travel companies will meet and seek additional business cooperation opportunities with Chinese partners.

According to the VNAT, China is the largest outbound market in the world with nearly 155 million visitors traveling abroad in 2019.

China was the second largest source market for Vietnam in September, with over 257,000 visitors coming to major tourist destinations in the country.
