Vietnam Airlines delay flights to Japan with typhoon Hagibis incoming

VOV.VN -Vietnam Airlines are set to adjust their flight schedule for planes going to and arriving from the Japanese cities of Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo, as of this morning until the afternoon of October 12 as typhoon Hagibis approaches the Japanese mainland.

The national flag carrier will delay the departure time of flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, in addition to those from Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo, coded VN330, VN331, VN320, VN321, VN346, VN347, VN340, VN341, VN384, and VN385, by approximately 22 hours.

In addition to these changes, Vietnam Airlines will also cancel flights between Danang and Osaka coded VN336, VN337, whilst those between Ho Chi Minh City and Tokyo, coded VN302, VN303, on October 12 will also be cancelled.

Passengers who have purchased tickets will be moved to flights which take off the next day.

The airline has requested that passengers keep themselves updated on the status of their flights, whilst also keeping track of weather conditions, in addition to any announcements made by the carrier.
