Vietnamese taekwondo athletes to compete at 2018 Canada Open

The tournament has attracted the participation of a number of countries and territories from around the world. This year, Vietnam will send six martial artists to compete in two categories, including in kyorugi (combat) and poomsae (performance).

Nguyen Thi Hong Thuy (women’s 49kg category), Nguyen Hoang Yen Vy (women’s 57kg category), and Nguyen Thi Hong Han (women’s 62kg category) will compete in the kyorugi division, while Chau Ngoc Tuyet Sang, Nguyen Thanh Hien Linh, and Nguyen Quang Tri will compete in 4 individual events including the women’s individual creative poomsae, men’s and women's individual standard poomsae, and mixed doubles’ standard poomsae.
