Ti Long trains Indian athletes at 2 WTT World Youth Table Tennis Tournaments

VOV.VN - In the world of sports, stories of collaboration and success across borders are always inspiring. The story of famous table tennis coach Ti Long (real name Nguyen Hoang Long) and young athlete Khyati from India is a testament to that.

Under the guidance of Ti Long, Khyati has achieved proud achievements in the international arena, bringing glory not only to herself but also to Vietnamese sports.

After just two years of training with Ti Long, Khyati went from a beginner to runner-up at the WTT Youth Contender Varazdin World Table Tennis Championships in Croatia, and less than a month later, Khyati went on to win a Bronze Medal in the Women's Singles at the WTT Youth Contender Vientiane Table Tennis Championships in Laos after losing to a Chinese player by a narrow margin, and before that, Khyati also made it to the top 3 of the National Youth Championships in India.

The story begins when Khyati’s family decided to bring her to Vietnam to study and train with Ti Long. With a reputation as an experienced and dedicated coach, Ti Long accepted Khyati as his student. The teacher-student relationship is not simply about imparting techniques but also about spiritual connection, as Ti Long inspired Khyati to overcome difficulties.

Under Ti Long’s guidance, Khyati underwent the most scientific and special training. The coach not only focused on technique but also shared many core principles that he had painstakingly researched for her. Ti Long taught Khyati how to hit the ball most effectively, develop her physical strength and develop special tactics.

“Ti Long taught me the most unique techniques and tactics. He inspired me and gave me confidence,” Khyati shared.

After just two years of hard work, Khyati has excelled in winning silver and bronze medals in women’s singles at two world junior table tennis tournaments. This success is not only the result of hard work but also a testament to Ti Long’s talent in developing international athletes.

“Seeing my students achieve success is my greatest pride. Khyati has brought glory not only to herself but also to Vietnamese table tennis,” Ti Long shared.

Khyati’s success at international tournaments not only highlights his individual talent but also shows the position of Vietnamese coaches on the world sports map. Ti Long has proven that Vietnamese coaches can train excellent athletes, not only domestically but also at the international level.

With her current achievements, Khyati is looking forward to a brighter future in her table tennis career. She hopes to become an Olympic athlete in the future and continue to develop her skills under the guidance of Ti Long.

“We will continue to work hard to achieve greater success. I am proud to learn from Ti Long,” Khyati said with determination.

The story of Ti Long and Khyati is not only a sporting journey but also a testament to the power of cooperation and belief in human potential. Khyati’s success not only brings pride to herself but also to the whole Vietnamese sports community, affirming that Vietnamese coaches can conquer the world. This journey will certainly continue to inspire many young generations at home and abroad.
