Thai legend Kiatisak to coach HAGL FC in 2 seasons
VOV.VN - Thai legend Kiatisak Senamuang will return to Vietnam in December 2020 to coach his former V.League football club, Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL).

HAGL owner Doan Nguyen Duc said he had reached in principle an agreement with the former Thai football star and manager, known as Thai Zico.
Thai media revealed both sides had agreed on a two-year contract and Kiatisak would be paid US$26,000 per month for his performance in the club.
On December 17, Kiatisak is scheduled to arrive in Can Tho city where he will be placed in quarantine according to COVID-19 regulations. Following the 14-day quarantine period, he will then get down to work on the last day of 2020.
Kiatisak, born 1973, used to play for HAGL in four seasons between 2002-2006. He played 75 matches, scoring 59 goals and helping the team win the V.League in the 2003 and 2004 seasons.
He then coached HAGL in 2006 and 2010 but without a success. He flew back to Thailand in 2011, starting his coaching career in the country.
“HAGL has been a part of my career history. I always love my old club and I am really surprised that many fans remember me,” Kiatisak told Thai media recently.
HAGL owner Doan Nguyen Duc recently shocked Southeast Asia by announcing that he had brought Kiatisak back to Vietnam. He did not set any specific target for the former coach and it is said this is why the former Thai star had accepted Duc’s offer.
Kiatisak told his supporters online on November 22 that he considers HAGL as his second home and that he wants to help the club win V.League and AFC Champions League.
