RoK's Kang wins billiards tournament
World's No 9 ranked Kang Dong-koong won the International 3-carom Cushion Open, which closed on July 26 in Binh Duong Province.
Kang, from the Republic of Korea, defeated Do Nguyen Trung Hau of HCM City 40-23 in the final match to pocket a bonus of VND 50 million (US$2,300).
A bronze medal went to another Korean cueist, Cho Jae-ho, the world's No 6 ranked player.
This year's tournament lured 64 competitors, four of whom were foreigners.
