Off-road race to be held in Ha Giang
An off-road motor race for both motorbikes and cars will be held in the UNESCO-recognised Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang during the upcoming National Reunification Day (April 30) and May Day holidays.

The event will be the first of its kind held in the area by the provincial Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism, the Yen Minh district People’s Committee and the International Franchise JSC.
According to Ha Giang Provincial People's Committee on April 4, the two-day race will start on April 29 in the pinewood hill area of Lao Va Chai Commune in Yen Minh District. This area boasts stunning natural landscapes.
The race will feature motor control demonstrations, racing on natural terrain conditions, time trials, adventure tracks and car culture exchanges.
Domestic and international professional and amateurs racers can register to participate in the event from April 1 to 20.
The first prize winner will be awarded VND150 million (USD6,522), and the runner-up VND75 million, and third-placed finisher VND30 million.
