Minh 4 seed in US badminton event
Nguyen Tien Minh is seeded No 4 at the men's singles competition in this year's USA International badminton tournament.
The Vietnamese get a bye to the second round of the tournament and will play the winner of the match between Tomothu Chiu of Canada and Yu Jen Chi of Taipei.
On the women's side, Vu Thi Trang of Vietnam will play Hsuan-Yu Wendy Chen of Australia in the first-round match.
The US tournament will be held from December 5 to 12 in Orlando, Florida.
