Hanoi FC to face representative from the DPRK in AFC Cup Inter-Zonal finals
VOV.VN - V-League champions Hanoi FC are to take on April 25 Sports Club of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) over two legs in the AFC Cup Inter-Zonal finals.

April 25 Sports Club, representing the DPRK, defeated Abahani Limited Dhaka of Bangladesh 5-4 on aggregate in the semifinals on August 28.
Despite losing the first leg to Abahani Limited Dhaka 4-3, April 25 Sports Club showed great determination in the second leg to defeat the Bangladeshi side 2-0 thanks to striker Kim Yu-song.
With April 25 Sports Club through to the Inter-Zonal final, the fixture will take place across two-legs. The side from the DPRK will play Vietnam’s representatives Hanoi FC in the first leg at the Hang Day stadium on September 25.
The second leg is set to take place in the DPRK on October 2.
