David Coulthard to drive on Hanoi streets to mark Vietnam F1 debut
Formula One star David Coulthard will drive through the streets of Hanoi on April 20 to promote the country's first F1 race next year.

The Briton, runner-up in the 2001 Formula One World Drivers' Championship, will race against a Red Bull Racing driver on a part of the track being built near the My Dinh Stadium.
DJ Armin van Buuren and famous Vietnamese singers will perform at the event, where details about the country’s first ever F1 race in April 2020 such as ticketing and promotions will be announced.
Construction of Vietnam’s first F1 racetrack began last month and is expected to take 12 months.
It is more than 5.5 kilometers long with 22 corners with a design inspired by some of the world's most exciting tracks like Germany, Monaco and Japan.
The inaugural Hanoi F1 race will be a seven-day event with parades, showcasing of race cars and other events. Streets will be blocked off for four to five days before the race and traffic rerouted.
The Vietnam Grand Prix Corporation has signed a 10-year contract to host the race, and it can be extended further after the eighth year.
