Anh Vien brings first gold to Vietnam at World Military Games
Swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien has won the first gold for Vietnam at the World Military Games 2015 that is ongoing in the Republic of Korea.
She finished first in the women’s 200m medley in a time of 2:13.87 on October 9, bringing Vietnam the second medal after her bronze victory in the 800m freestyle on October 7.
The silver medal went to Andreeva Viktoriia from Russia with a time of 2:13.96 while the Zhu Yingying from China got the bronze.
On October 10, Vien will compete in the 200m backstroke and 400m freestyle finals.
