The young Chinese people will cycle through the northern provinces of Bac Ninh, Bac Giang and Lang Son and are expected to arrive in Nanning on July 15.

The 1,000km trip is aimed at promoting environmental protection. Participants are expected to meet with local young people during their stop-overs to exchange views on the Vietnam-China friendship and the environment.

The tour is being jointly held by the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (VACNE) and China Radio International (CRI) to mark the 60^th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Vietnam-China Year of Friendship and the 2010 International Year of Biodiversity.
