Vietnam youth win 6 medals at Int’l math Olympiad
VOV.VN - With four gold medals, one silver and one bronze, Vietnamese students have ensured themselves a third-place finish among the 111 participating countries at the 58th International Mathematical Olympiad in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The four gold medals went to Hoang Huu Quoc Huy from Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, Le Quang Dung from Thanh Hoa Province, Nguyen Canh Hoang from Nghe An Province and Phan Nhat Duy from Ha Tinh Province.
The silver and bronze medals were earned by Pham Nam Khanh from Hanoi and Do Van Quyet from Vinh Phuc Province, respectively.
The International Mathematical Olympiad is held annually with a mission to increase interest in mathematics and develop problem-solving skills among high school students through participation in a fun competition.
