Vietnam Science and Technology Day 2017 marked in Hanoi

Associate Professor Doctor Nguyen Sum of Quy Nhon University and Professor Doctor Phan Thanh Son Nam of the Polytechnique University of the Ho Chi Minh City National University was honoured with the award.

In his address, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam called on scientists to make further efforts to keep pace with the global technological developments, especially the 4th industrial revolution.

“We need to inspire students and university graduates. We also need to create a favorable environment to enable scientists to devote to science and innovation," Dam said.

A string of activities celebrating Vietnam Science and Technology Day 2017 were also held in many localities throughout the country.
