VFF leader sends season’s greetings to Catholics
VOV.VN - President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Nguyen Thien Nhan has wished Catholic and Protestant dignitaries and followers a Merry Christmas 2016.
In his letter delivered on December 14, the VFF leader said in the past year, the Catholics and Protestants have played an important role in protecting the environment, ensuring social welfare, food safety, and safeguarding national sovereignty.
The Catholics and Protestants through their practical deeds have contributed significantly to consolidating national unity.
He congratulated the Vietnam Episcopal Council for organizing its 13th Congress and the Protestant Churches for hosting major events which have helped to develop the nation.
