Under a cooperation programme between Vietnam and the US, during their stay from May 31-June 12, staff and medical workers on the ship will work with Vietnamese medical workers and relevant provincial agencies to provide free-of-charge health checks-up and treatment for local people.

They will also repair and provide equipment for medical facilities and humanitarian centres in Quy Nhon city and Tuy Phuoc districts, share experiences in modern healthcare, and participate in sport and cultural exchange activities.
