VOV.VN - The People’s Court of Quang Tri province, central Vietnam, has sentenced to deaths two Nigerian citizens on a charge of illegally trafficking nearly 14 kilos of drugs in Vietnam.

Ekene Ajemba, 31, was detained on September 20, 2019 at section Km72+800 of National Highway 9 in Quang Tri by relevant agencies of the Lao Bao International Border Gate.
Searching his bag, the authorities discovered a nylon package containing crystals believed to be synthetic drugs.
From his testimony, relevant agencies later detained Omeje Johnson Chibuzo, 31, at a restaurant in Lao Bao township. Searching the Nigerian man and related locations, the authorities seized more paper packages containing white crystals.
Test results showed that all of the crystals were drugs, weighing nearly 14 kilos in total.
