Tropical depression heading toward East Sea
VOV.VN - A tropical depression is strengthening in the south-eastern waters of the Philippines, said the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting (NCHMF) on November 19.

Over the following 24 hours, the tropical low pressure has tracked west-northwest at a speed of 25km per hour and is likely to strengthen into a typhoon.
Over the following 48 hours, the typhoon will move north-west at a speed of 25km per hour and enter the East Sea. It is forecast that by 7pm on November 21, the centre of the typhoon will be located at 11.3 degrees north and 119.0 degrees east, about 480km east of Song Tu Tay island (belong to Truong Sa archipelago) with strongest winds reaching 60-75km per hour.
Forecasters said the storm will track west at a speed of 20-25km per hour and is likely to strengthen in 72 hours.
