Thua Thien – Hue spends VND5 billion to aid fishermen
The central province of Thua Thien – Hue has released a decision to allocate more than VND4.96 billion to assist fishermen in offshore fishing.

Meanwhile, under the Government’s Decree 67/2014/ND-CP on policies for fisheries development, the province in the past two years have provided preferential loans worth VND177.49 billion (US$7.8 million) for the upgrade and building of 40 fishing vessels.
In Phu Vang alone, 29 boat owners have gained approval for their applications seeking concessional loans for building and upgrading fishing boats under the decree.
