Three Lao drug traffickers arrested in Quang Tri
(VOV) - Police and border guards in Lao Bao international border gate in Quang Tri Province on January 7 caught three Laotians in the act of illegally transporting 900 pills of synthetic drugs.
The arrested are 41-year-old Xun Thoong Bun Pha Voong, 49-year-old Pam Phen and 49-year-old Kham La, all reside in Laos’ Savannakhet Province.
529 pills of synthetic drugs were found tightening behind the knee of Pha Voong. Being questioned, he told the authorities of his two accomplices.
The two men, Pam Phen and Kham La were arrested after that with 376 pills of synthetic drugs.
The case is under further investigation.
Early this year, border guards in Lao Bao arrested a man attempting to transport 6kg of dry marijuana across the border into Vietnam.
