Red Journey campaign kicks off in Kien Giang province
VOV.VN - The Red Journey 2019, also known as Hanh Trinh Do, blood donation campaign kicked off in Rach Gia city and four other districts of the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang on June 11.

The event, which has been initiated by the National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation and the National Institute of Haematology and Blood Transfusion, is scheduled to run until July 28.
For this year’s campaign, Red Journey aims to collect 60.000 units of blood and looks set to roll out events across 39 provinces and cities nationwide.
In the previous six events, the campaign collected a total of 170.000 units of blood which contributed to solving blood shortages during the summer and helped to save the lives of thousands of patients.
