Policeman clings to life after rear end crash in northern Vietnam
VOV.VN - A tractor-trailer rear ended another truck on the Hanoi-Bac Giang Highway in northeast Vietnam last night (July 5) causing a multi vehicle pileup that sent a policeman to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

The driver who caused the accident, Duong Van Dong (centre in red shirt), admits he is guilty of travelling too fast and close behind the other truck and is unable to stop and avoid the crash. |

Though the posted speed is 80 kilometres per hour, Mr Dong is still required by law to leave sufficient space between his truck and the vehicles to his front to stop in case of emergency. |
