Police guide 30 people to safety in Hanoi office building fire
VOV.VN - At around 8:04 a.m. on February 12, the 114 emergency hotline of the Hanoi Police Command Information Center received a report of a fire at the CTM building, 139 Cau Giay Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi.

Upon receiving the alert, the center immediately dispatched firefighters and rescue workers, who coordinated with local authorities and residents to contain the fire and carry out rescue operations.
The Fire and Rescue Police Department also deployed a command vehicle to oversee operations. Relevant agencies determined that the fire broke out in a multi-story building that contained a supermarket, offices, and apartments.
The blaze originated in the technical shaft on the fourth floor of the office tower. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and launched search and rescue efforts.
Rescue teams successfully guided nearly 30 people to safety via the rooftop and stairwell. Initial reports confirmed that all evacuees were in stable physical and mental condition.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
