Police break up drug trafficking ring from Cambodia to Vietnam
VOV.VN - The police and border guards of Tay Ninh, a south-western border province of Vietnam, have dismantled a ring trafficking 30 kg of crystal meth from Cambodia to Vietnam.

They on October 7 caught red handed two Vietnamese residents driving a car carrying 30kg of crystal meth from the border with Cambodia into the Vietnamese territory for sales.
The arrest was made in the border area of Long An hamlet that borders Cambodia, at around 01:50a.m, said the police.
The two arrested suspects, Tran Van Suong, 36, and Ly Minh Thuong, 38, were residents of Ho Chi Minh City.
Suong admitted that they had transported the drug on a request of a man who they had met in Cambodia.
During the expanded investigation, the police subsequently arrested Dao Tran Anh Khoa, 20, in Ho Chi Minh City, who was supposed to receive the drug for sale in the city.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
