The programme, jointly held by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Hanoi People’s Committee, is expected to see the attendance of President Tran Dai Quang and other Party and State leaders, together with representatives of Hanoi and ministries, agencies and localities.

The event will feature performances by famous domestic and foreign artists.

OVs can register for the programme through Vietnamese representative offices abroad or the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs at 32 Ba Trieu, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi, via phone number: (84-4) 28244400, Fax: (84-4) 38257732 and email: [email protected].

There are approximately 4.5 million Vietnamese living and working in 103 countries and territories worldwide. They form an indispensable part of the nation and play an important role in intensifying friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and the rest of the world.
