One dead as fire engulfs house in Ca Mau

VOV.VN - A fire broke out at a house in Hung My commune, Cai Nuoc district, Ca Mau province on November 13, killing an 11-year old girl, according to the Cai Nuoc district People’s Committee.
Upon detecting the fire, neighbors tried to help the family to stamp out the blaze and save their daughter, however, the wooden house burnt to the ground soon after that.

The cerebral-palsied girl was trapped and killed in the fire.

A short-circuit might cause the fire, initially reported.

Soon after the incident, the Cai Nuoc district People’s Committee visited and donated VND5 million to the family.
