Many Vietnamese kiosks burned down in Poland Shopping Centre fire
VOV.VN - Many kiosks owned by Vietnamese nationals have been burned down in a fierce fire at a shopping centre in Warsaw, the capital of Poland.

The fire broke out early on May 12 and quickly swept through the shopping centre at 44 Marywilska in Warsaw.
The incident caused no casualties, but almost all the goods, mainly clothes, were burned.
The shopping centre houses approximately 1,400 kiosks, with about one third owned by Vietnamese people in Poland, according to Ha Hoang Hai, Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland.
Hearing about the news, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam directed the Vietnamese Embassy in Poland to urgently dispatch a working group to the scene, and at the same time coordinate closely with local authorities and the Vietnamese Association in Poland, to inquire into the situation, encourage and visit those whose kiosks were burned, and soon deploy citizen protection work.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Poland immediately set up a hotline on citizen protection to receive information from Vietnamese nationals and support people in working with local authorities.
The Embassy also requested Polish authorities to urgently investigate the cause of the fire to fully ensure the rights and interests of Vietnamese citizens.
Currently, the Vietnamese Association in Poland is actively coordinating with the Embassy to obtain information, encourage and visit those whose kiosks were damaged in the fire and raise donations for initial support.
