Lao drug smuggler nabbed in Thanh Hoa
VOV.VN - The border guard force of the northern province of Thanh Hoa have arrested a Lao national for smuggling 3 kg of opium into Vietnam.

The suspect, who was hiding in dense forest, immediately ran into the forest upon noticing police.
After a short time, he was caught with 3kg opium hidden in his luggage.
The Lao national, named Ho Khua Dua, born in 1963, admitted that he transported the drugs from Laos to Vietnam for distribution.
