Lang Son police seizes 10,000 smuggled cosmetics

Accordingly, on March 28, the police stopped a suspicious car while they were on duty at Van Thuy commune, Chi Lang district.

Searching the vehicle, they discovered 70 cartons consisting of 10,000 different types of cosmetic products, such as shampoos, conditioners, hair oils, and hair wax.

The items included a couple of famous brand names such as TiGi, Collagen, Nashi, and Diva.

The driver, Nguyen Thanh Thien, residing in Tan Lap Village, Mai Pha commune, failed to provide documents clarifying origins of their products.

He admitted that the shipment was illegally imported from China and then transported to Vietnam for consumption.

The case is still under investigation.
