Illegal transportation of dead pangolins stopped in Vinh

Two suspects involved in the scheme were caught red-handed as they were tranporting the pangolins to be sold to a client in Nghe An.

The suspects have been named as Ho Minh Duc, 28, of Dak To district, Kon Tum province, and Bui Duc Hung, 39, of Dai Tu district, Thai Nguyen province.

The two men admitted to purchasing the dead pangolins from local hunters in Kon Tum province at a price of VND2 million per kg with the intention of selling them for VND2.8 million per kg.

The case is currently under investigation.
