Helmets for kids programme launched in Hanoi

VOV.VN - A national programme aimed at encouraging children to wear helmets while on bikes was launched in Hanoi on September 8, with Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh in attendance.

Thousands of people gathered together on the pedestrian streets around Ho Guom, also known as Sword Lake, to take part in the launching ceremony of the helmets for kids programme. |

The highlight of the event was a walk around Ho Guom. The main aim of the occasion is to raise awareness among parents about children wearing helmets in order to make the journey to school safer for children. |

In addition, other members of the Politburo are in attendance including Truong Thi Mai, Head of the Central Committee for Public Affairs, Minister of Transport Nguyen Van The, Minister of Education and Training Phung Xuan Nha, along with Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Chung. |
