Hanoi’s households still face serious flooding

VOV.VN - Several days after the downpours, hundreds of households in Hanoi’s outlying district of Chuong My are still facing severe flooding.

The whole village is submerged in muddy water. According to a VOV reporter, in some areas, the water is 1-1.5 meter deep.
Many people are completely isolated and trapped in their waterlogged homes with no electricity. 
Locals have to travel by boat.
A local says instant noodles are the only food for her family in the three rainy days. “Today I decide to go out to buy some fresh food for my family,” she notes.
All the roads are under water.
A couple struggle to cook their lunch in a flooded house.
Locals cannot go out due to the serious flooding.
His family has to move to another place as his house has been inundated.
According to locals, their village is flooded every rainy season, but this year has been the most serious.  All the crop areas have been engulfed by floods.
