Ha Nam police seize 2,100 ecstasy pills in drugs bust

VOV.VN - Police in the northern province of Ha Nam said on September 6 that they have arrested a couple who were smuggling 2,100 ecstasy pills and other drugs from Quang Ninh to Ha Nam for domestic consumption. 

Earlier, on September 2, police discovered and raided a drug trafficking ring in Que town, Kim Bang district. They arrested Do Thi Nhu and Tran Manh Hoang, who were illegally transporting drugs from Quang Ninh to Ha Nam.

Upon searching the suspects’ luggage, police discovered nearly 2,100 ecstasy pills and other types of drugs, leading them to confiscate a car, VND15 million in cash, three mobile phones and other evidence.

Police are carrying out further investigations into the incident.
