Fire engulfs kiosks in Hanoi

The kiosks sell confectioneries, iron, aluminum windows and doors. Five fire engines from the Ha Dong district fire prevention and fighting force rushed to the scene immediately after the fire alarm was raised.

The huge fire was brought under control after two hours. However, smouldering fire was still seen from paint chemicals inside the kiosks and fire fighters continued to tackle the blaze until 8:30am. 

No fatalities and property damage have been reported but the cause of the incident is still under investigation.
