DENSO supports contestants at World Skills Competition

(VOV) -DENSO Manufacturing Vietnam (DMVN) will support Vietnamese contestants in preparation for the 43rd World Skills Competition (WSC) which is scheduled to take place in Saul Paulo, Brazil, from November 11-16, 2015.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) on supporting and training Vietnamese contestants was signed between Director of the General Department of Vocational Training under the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, Duong Duc Lan and DMVN General Director Isao Mizuno  in Hanoi on December 24.

Accordingly, DMVN will provide fund and training for Vietnamese contestants in two skills - computer numerically controlled (CNC) Turning and Industrial Control.

In addition to DENSO, Toyota and Samsung Groups will also provide training for Vietnamese contestants in the hope that they will achieve higher results and win medals.

This time Vietnamese contestants will compete in 24 skills and they are fully funded to compete in 7 skills by foreign enterprises and groups.

This year’s competition has attracted 1,273 contestants from 72 countries and territories.
