Da Nang Hospital inks training co-operation program with German partners
VOV.VN - Da Nang hospital and the Heart for Heart Foundation for Life signed a training co-operation program on April 1 to develop an online training system and to connect Da Nang Cardiovascular Centre with the German Heart Centre and other similar cardiovascular centres around the world.

The Heart for Heart Foundation for Life was first established in 2003 and founded by Dr. Erich Lejeune. Since 2005, the organisation has directly provided support and treatment for children with congenital heart defects across Vietnam.
The foundation has had a presence in Da Nang since 2006, with more than VND63 billion being pumped into Da Nang Hospital to establish a state-of-the-art cardiology intervention room and provide modern medical equipment.

Dr. Le Duc Nhan, director of Da Nang Hospital, said the hospital plans to connect with the German Heart Institute and other relevant units to dispatch a number of Vietnamese doctors to learn cardiac ultrasound techniques in the future.
