Canada’s Prime Minister Stenphen Harper has sent his greetings to the local Vietnamese community in prior to the lunar New Year (Tet) festival, which he said is a wonderful opportunity to mark time-honoured customs.
“I am really delighted to extend my best wishes to the Vietnamese community in Canada on this occasion.
Some 250,000 Vietnamese people are living in Canada.
