Another plane damaged by cargo truck at Tan Son Nhat

An ATR 72 of VASCO, a fully-owned subsidiary of Vietnam Airlines, was damaged after it was hit by with a cargo truck at Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat Airport on August 25.

The incident happened at around 8:30 a.m. after the flight 219 from the southern province of Ca Mau landed at Vietnam's largest airport.

A cargo truck operated by Vietnam Airport Ground Services Co., Ltd (VIAGS) reportedly hit the aircraft and damaged a section of the fuselage near the front door, local media reported.

Relevant agencies are investigating the incident before taking measures against those responsible.
VASCO owns 2 French-Italian ATR 72 aircrafts.
It was the second incident involving a Vietnam Airlines aircraft in three days.
On August 23, technicians found that a Vietnam Airlines Airbus A321’s tailplane had been damaged after it landed safely at Vinh Airport from HCMC.
Tan Son Nhat Airport Authority later said the tailplane was damaged when it was towed by a truck to a runway for takeoff.
The Southern Airports Authority is also investigating this incident.
