All crew members of sunken coal vessel off Ha Tinh found
VOV.VN - By around 12 p.m. on May 26, the remaining 10 crew members of Cong Thanh 07 vessel, which had sunk off the coast of Ha Tinh province, were found drifting at sea.

The 10 men were brought aboard the SAR 631 vessel, operated by the Regional Search and Rescue Center 2, and are currently en route to Vung Ang Port in central Ha Tinh province. All are reported to be in stable condition.
As of noon the same day, all 11 crew members who had been on board the Cong Thanh 07 at the time of the incident have been accounted for. Their identities have been verified.
To facilitate the search effort, the Vietnam Maritime and Waterway Administration worked closely with the Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center, the maritime port authorities, and border guard units from both Ha Tinh and Quang Binh provinces. A command post was set up at the Quang Binh Maritime Port Authority.
An EC-155 B1 helicopter, operated by the Northern Helicopter Company, was also deployed to assist in the operation.
Relevant agencies have mobilized all available resources and expanded the search area from the initial site of the sinking to cover the entire sea area off Quang Binh, based on updated assessments.
All crew members had been wearing life jackets when they abandoned the vessel, which considerably improved their chances of survival. Fishermen operating in the area also got involved in the search and rescue effort.
