Top Vietnamese legislator to visit RoK
VOV.VN - National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan is due to make an official visit to the Republic of Korea (RoK) from December 4-7, according to a communique issued by the NA Committee for External Affairs.

Vietnam and the RoK established diplomatic ties on December 22, 1992. They set up their comprehensive strategic partnership in August 2001, and upgraded the relations to a strategic cooperative partnership in October 2009.
Vietnam and the RoK are enjoying a fruitful strategic cooperative partnership and both sides are sparing no effort to realize the set target of US$100 billion in bilateral trade by 2020.
The RoK is now the second-largest trade partner of Vietnam, with two-way trade exceeding US$60 billion in 2017.
